Your tasks

  • Management and further development of the department according to business unit’s objectives, including management of processes, resources and targets
  • Definition, implementation, monitoring and controlling of medical strategy for designated focus areas
  • Adoption of the procedural framework for the department’s needs to achieve its goals
  • Build up and maintain comprehensive expert knowledge within the department
  • Prioritization of activities within designated focus area in terms of financial and human resources
  • Disciplinary and professional leadership of the department

Your competence

  • Authority to plan and manage the budget for the department
  • Authority to make strategic decisions regarding the medical strategy and its implementation within the designated focus areas in alignment with Head of Global Medical Affairs
  • Authority to sign according to the signature regulations: financial, contractual
  • Access to digital infrastructure for necessary to accomplish designated tasks

Your responsibilities

  • Medical representative / first point of contact for all medical and scientific questions
  • Development of the “big picture” and medical strategies based on the medical orientation of medac products
  • Defining and accomplishing of medical strategy for designated focus areas
  • Integration of medical strategies into product strategies
  • Responsibility for management of medical projects within the designated focus areas
  • Global KOL networks to achieve medical affairs goals
  • Development of stakeholder-oriented training concepts
  • Cost and budget responsibility for department
