At medac group, we believe that health is humanity’s most valuable resource. We never take it for granted. Since 1970, our mission has been to improve patients’ quality of life worldwide by making the best medical treatments available.

Over the years, we have evolved from a pharmaceutical company into an internationally recognized corporate group. With over 2,000 dedicated employees worldwide and two contract development and manufacturing organizations in Europe, we distribute our products to 91 countries. We channel our expertise to make a range of essential treatments accessible in our focus areas: rheumatology, urology, hematology, and oncology.

Our newly established unified brand at medac signifies our dedication to customer proximity and high expertise, striving to fulfill our promise of enhancing human health. The new brand claim, "Improving human health," positions us as a determined international pharmaceutical company aiming to make essential treatments available worldwide. Through collaboration with long-standing global business partners, our goal is to offer high-quality pharmaceutical products and services worldwide.

As part of the new brand positioning, medac has revamped its logo, visual presentation, and language across all channels and touchpoints. The logo features a sovereign violet color, symbolizing confidence and resilience, evoking a sense of comfort, warmth, and boldness for maximum market impact. This distinctive color serves as a unique identifier in the competitive landscape, enhancing visibility and differentiation.

A significant focus in developing the corporate brand has been on highlighting medac's role as an employer. The employer brand aims to enhance medac's visibility and attractiveness as an international and future-oriented employer globally. This increases both the employees' identification with medac as an employer and awareness among potential applicants.

The new brand marks a new chapter for medac, emphasizing its commitment to improving human health globally and reinforcing its position as a dedicated and innovative pharmaceutical leader in its focus areas.

Impressions from our global unveiling event at the headquarters in Wedel

On Monday, March 11 2024, the new global corporate brand medac was unveiled in a festive event! Over 1100 digital participants and around 70 on site in Wedel celebrated this milestone in the company's history with great excitement and joy. In his inspiring speech, our CEO Frank Lucaßen emphasized the importance and global strength created by a unified global brand.

In a subsequent discussion between Jeanette Holzer, Head of Global Brand Management, and Frank Lucaßen with external moderator Claudia Bechstein, it became clear that a brand is much more than just a logo and a striking color. It distinguishes a company from its competitors not only in terms of design, but above all in its messages, behavior and language.
