Wedel, 4 June 2026 – With the appointment of Dr Christian Matschke as Chief Operating Officer (COO), the medac Group adds further expertise to the management of its manufacturing, quality and supply processes. His areas of responsibility include Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Occupational Health & Safety, and cross-site operational processes.
The focus of his role is to ensure the safe, timely and high-quality supply of medicines and medical devices to patients and partners worldwide. At the same time, efficiency, productivity and the international competitiveness of medac’s manufacturing and supply structures will continue to be strengthened.

In addition, he brings extensive expertise in operational transformation and cross-functional collaboration.
