At medac Nordics, we are a dedicated team of 35 professionals working across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and IT. Our Nordic head office is located at The Point in Hyllie, complemented by smaller local offices in Finland and Norway, as well as many field-based colleagues.

We are growing and introducing new positions, and we take great care in finding the right people. Our employees are what make us unique – they are the reason we are a company of choice for both our team members and the partners we collaborate with.

Our culture is built on community and collaboration across borders and functions. Each of us is a specialist in our field, and every contribution matters as we work together towards shared goals. We continuously develop our digital platforms and tools to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing across four countries, ensuring we stay connected and effective wherever we are.

About the role

We are looking for a Nordic Value & Access Manager to strengthen value-based market access for medac’s portfolio across the Nordic region. This is a new role and you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing health economic strategies that support pricing, reimbursement, payer engagement, and value communication throughout the full product lifecycle.

In this role, you will work closely with Market Access, Medical, Commercial, and cross-functional brand teams to develop, adapt, and communicate robust evidence demonstrating the value of our medicines.

Main responsibilities

Health Economic Strategy & Modelling

  • Lead the development, adaptation, and maintenance of cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and other relevant HE models for Nordic requirements.
  • Translate global health economic models into Nordic conditions, including local costs, epidemiology, and clinical practice patterns.
  • Ensure models are accurate, transparent, and aligned with national HTA expectations.

HTA, Pricing & Reimbursement

  • Co-lead HTA submissions and coordinate cross-functional inputs from Medical, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
  • Prepare responses to authority questions and evidence requests during pricing and reimbursement assessments.
  • Provide strategic guidance to support pricing decisions, negotiations, and payer dialogues.

Evidence Generation & RWE

  • Support the generation and local adaptation of real-world evidence (RWE) to strengthen product value communication and post-launch positioning.
  • Identify evidence gaps and contribute to RWE strategy development in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
  • Use RWE and health economic insights to reinforce product value and support ongoing payer engagement.

Value Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop compelling value stories and materials tailored to Nordic payer, HTA, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Present complex HE concepts in a clear and accessible way to internal stakeholders, advisory boards, and external audiences.
  • Contribute to branded value strategy and cross-functional brand planning.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Medical teams and Commercial colleagues.
  • Provide HE insights to support brand strategy, clinical studies, and RWE initiatives.
  • Engage with global teams to align and adapt global materials to Nordic requirements.
  • Participate in payer advisory boards, internal strategy discussions, and launch preparedness activities.

Personal skills and competencies

Collaboration and strong communication skills are essential in this role. You are solution-oriented and bring specialist expertise in the field, including strong numerical and analytical skills. You are self-motivated and demonstrate a high level of autonomy and self-leadership.

Education

University degree in health economics, economics, public health, or a closely related field.

It is an advantage with advanced training or postgraduate studies in health economics (e.g.

modelling, HTA, HEOR).

Work experience & Job relateded competencies

3–5 years of experience working with health economic and budget impact models, as well as reimbursement processes, in at least one Nordic country, preferably within a pharmaceutical company, consultancy, and/or an HTA authority.

Nordic healthcare system understanding and strong knowledge of the Nordic healthcare systems, regulatory environment and marketing ethics.

Language skills

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, in English and a Nordic language. Other Nordic languages are an add on.
